EyeCare America provides eye care to US citizens and legal residents through volunteer ophthalmologists (Eye M.D.s) at no cost to those who qualify.

The Seniors program connects eligible seniors 65 and older with local volunteer ophthalmologists who provide a medical eye exam at no out-of-pocket cost, and up to one year of follow-up care for any condition diagnosed during the initial exam, for the physician services.
The Glaucoma Program provides a glaucoma eye exam at no cost to those who are eligible and uninsured. Those who are eligible and insured are billed normal office procedure, and responsible for any co-payments. (This is an awareness program to provide a baseline glaucoma eye exam to those who may not be aware they are at increased risk).
Short Hills, NJ
New Eyes provides a basic pair of single or lined bifocal lenses. A New Eyes voucher is for individuals who have no other resources with which to obtain a basic pair eyeglasses. Applicants must have an eye exam including their pupillary distance (PD) measurement before applying.
Mission Cataract USA is a program that provides free cataract surgery to people of all ages who have no other means to pay. Visit the Mission Cataract USA’s website to apply and to find a participating eye care professional in your state.
During remodel, VISION USA will be investing time and resources into information collection to create a program that supports our volunteers philanthropic efforts to serve those in need.
Note: Eye care services and prescription eyewear are not available if already covered through a private insurer and/or a government program.
